This week we honor U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps Veteran Mitchell Red Cloud Jr.

Mitchell was born in Hatfield, Wisconsin, as a member of the Ho-Chunk Native American Nation. He dropped out of high school to enlist in the Marine Corps in 1941.
