impairments, severe illness or injury are set to tee up for the 2018 National Disabled Veterans Training,
Exposure and Experience (TEE) Tournament, which will take place Sept. 9-14
near Iowa City, Iowa.

career and was a trailblazer for women in the Navy. She is a Veteran
of World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War. In 1972, she became the
Navy’s first female admiral.
scientists are working to create a 3D-printed artificial lung that they
tout as having the potential to revolutionize the treatment of Veterans
affected by lung disease. One such lung disorder—chronic obstructive
pulmonary disease (COPD)—is one of the most prevalent and costliest
ailments in the Veteran population.
