Adaptive Sports

[Video] Veteran living with multiple sclerosis finds sense of well being with VA adaptive sports

Every year, the National Veterans Wheelchair Games presents the Spirit of the Games Award to the Veteran that through their athletic achievement, leadership and support of their fellow Veterans exemplifies the values of the games. Last summer, Ardrena Bailey, an Army Veteran from Washington D.C., demonstrated she is an optimist and inspiration to others.

Vet360

Vet360: Sharing information across VA to enhance service to Veterans

Vet360 will transform the current cumbersome process and provide a seamless experience for customers by consolidating VA’s data silos. The foundation for this initiative is the Master Data Management platform, which will deliver a single source of truth for common Veteran data across various channels. Veterans or employees will be able to review and update their contact information and those updates will be shared across the VA.

Suicide prevention

VA uses whole health to prevent Veteran suicide

Suicide prevention is VA’s top clinical priority. Every suicide is a tragedy, and we will not relent in our efforts to connect Veterans who are experiencing an emotional or mental health crisis with lifesaving support.
