Muhammad Ali, Jake LaMotta, and Mike Tyson have trained at the “cathedral of boxing.” Located on the banks of the East River in the DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass) neighborhood of Brooklyn, Gleason’s Gym is owned and operated by Vietnam Veteran Bruce Silverglade.

This week we honor Navy Veteran Tammie Jo Shults. Tammie Jo served for 10 years as a pilot and earned the rank of lieutenant commander.

Tammie Jo completed the successful emergency landing of Southwest flight 1380 at the Philadelphia International Airport on Tuesday, April 17, 2018.
