Summit to focus on women Veteran issues

The 2017 National Women Veterans Summit will focus on the needs and issues important to women Veterans and provide training, information and guidance to assist women Veterans—and those who serve them—with navigating through VA and community resources.

Your chance to compete in the 2017 National Veterans Golden Age Games

 The 2017 National Veterans Golden Age Games will take place in Biloxi, Mississippi, May 7-11. Nearly 800 athletes are expected to compete in the national multi-sport competition for senior Veterans, embracing the “Fitness for Life” motto.

Secretary Bob McDonald shares final message with VA employees. "Thank you from the bottom of my heart.  I will be eternally grateful for all of your hard work.  I will forever be your champion."

This week we honor Marine Corps Veteran Angus Hardie Jamerson

Angus Hardie Jamerson served in World War II with the Marine Corps as part of the storied “Montford Point Marines.”

In 2012, Angus and the other Montford Point Marines were awarded the Congressional Gold Medal for their distinguished service.
