Ending Veterans homelessness: Here’s how you can help

Thanks to our collective efforts with partner organizations and strategies informed by data, there has been a 47 percent reduction in Veteran homelessness across the United States since 2010.

National Veterans Creative Arts Competition and Festival kicks off

During January, February and March, Veterans enrolled at VA medical facilities or outpatient clinics are invited to enter their art, music, dance, drama and creative writing entries into the local competition phase.

VETERAN OF THE WEEK

This week we honor Women’s Army Corps Veteran Violet Hill Askins Gordon.

Violet and her unit became the only all African-American female unit to serve overseas in England and France during World War II. Violet believes her experiences in WAC changed her from a shy, introspective person into a leader.
