the Charleston VA Medical Center for helping him kick his cancer, alcoholism and addiction.
The former Marine said the Charleston VA now seems like a second home
to him.
Michael Le Buhn has learned to laugh at
his injury. It’s not because he finds it funny, but so he can continue
to embrace it. He uses his passion for comedy to cope with his severe PTSD.
In his opening address at the 84th
national convention of the Military Order of the Purple Heart,
Secretary McDonald underscored a number of world-class institutions and respected
organizations who are working with VA to help Veterans.
Cale received his commission from the
U.S. Air Force Academy in 2013. At the academy, he competed on
the track and field team and excelled in pole vaulting.
Cale will be representing the United
States in Rio during the 2016 Olympic games. Thanks you for
