VA Secretary Addresses Veterans Benefits Rumors
VA
Secretary Doug Collins released a video from his office recently
addressing misinformation circulating about Veterans’ benefits and VA
health care. In a direct and candid message, Collins refuted several

Slam the Scam 2025
National
“Slam the Scam” Day is designated by Social Security’s Office of the
Inspector General to raise awareness of government imposter scams, which

VA Processes One Million Disability Claims
We
have processed more than a million disability claims in Fiscal Year
2025, and we reached the milestone nearly two weeks faster than it did
in FY24.
Despite
receiving 15.6% more claims than last year, the department completed
its one millionth FY25 claim Feb. 20 — faster than at any point in the

Pension Payments for Eligible Survivors
VA’s
Survivors Pension program offers monthly payments to qualified
surviving spouses and unmarried dependent children of wartime Veterans
who meet certain income and net worth limits set by Congress. If you're a

Disagree with VA's decision on your claim? Veterans can request a higher-level review (HLR) This allows a Veteran or their representative to speak directly with a
