This
weekend, VA will host simultaneous “hackathons” with a goal of
developing innovations to help Veterans with mild traumatic brain
injury and post-traumatic stress disorder. Learn how you can attend and participate.
Getting
this right is a top priority. We need to be able to help
Veterans when they are most vulnerable, when they are in crisis. Of all
the Veterans we serve, a Veteran in crisis must know that dedicated,
expert VA staff will be there when needed.

VETERAN OF THE WEEK
This
week we honor Marc Small of the U.S. Army. Marc enlisted in the Army in
2004 as a Special Forces Trainee and worked his way to earning the
coveted title of Green Beret in 2007. During a deployment to Afghanistan,
Marc treated as many as 50 patients a day, many of which were children.
It’s
easy to nominate a Veteran. All it takes is an email to us with as much
information as you can put together. Click on the picture to the left for
an overview of how to put together a great #VeteranOfTheDay package.
