Student Veterans of America’s 2018 National
Conference, affectionately called “NatCon,” is kicking off the
first week of January. Student Veterans and others in the Veteran community
will convene in San Antonio to learn from keynote speakers, SVA officials,
chapter leaders, and each other. Here are seven things I’ve learned to
remember when preparing for a successful conference experience.

VETERAN
OF THE WEEK
This week we honor Army Veteran J. David
Bailey.
David served during World War II from
1942-1945. David is decorated with the Combat Infantry Badge, the Order of
Saint Maurice, and two Bronze Stars – one for Valor.
