VA secretary announces decision on next-generation electronic health record

VA’s adoption of the same system as the Department of Defense will ultimately result in all patient data residing in one common system and enable seamless care between the departments without the manual and electronic exchange and reconciliation of data between two separate systems.

Michigan Veterans treated to pro golf tournament, skills clinic during annual event

For the last 64 years, on the day after Memorial Day, the VA PGA Golf Tournament has taken place at Custer Greens Golf Course on the grounds of the Battle Creek VA Medical Center in Michigan.

VETERAN OF THE WEEK

This week we honor Army Veteran Clay Eiland.

Clay graduated from Texas Christian University in 2007 and served for four years as a transportation officer. One of the units he served with was the 4th Infantry Division. He deployed one time to Iraq and one time to Afghanistan.
