VA secretary announces expansion of mental health care services

Secretary David Shulkin announced his intention to expand mental health care needs to Veterans with other-than-honorable discharges.

83-year-old woman makes more than 1,500 blankets for Veterans

Thornton makes the blankets and then brings them to Biloxi National Cemetery, during her regular visits to see her daughter who is buried there.

This week we honor Marine Veteran Gina Marie Jones.

Gina served with 2nd Radio Battalion, 3rd Marine Division and 1st Marine Expeditionary Force as a Cryptologist and Intelligence Officer. She also worked with the NSA in intelligence and analysis due to her proficiency in languages.
